Disco d'esordio per il cantautore californiano, riscosse ottimi consensi di pubblico e grandi apprezzamenti da veri mostri sacri del rock come Bob Dylan, David Bowie e Robert Plant: inutile dire che avevano visto giusto nel riconoscergli una vera genialità! La canzone, in realtà, fu inclusa nella riedizione dell'album, avvenuta postuma nel 2004, a sette anni dalla morte.
