You're the Best Thing That Ever Happened to Me è un brano reinterpretato e inciso da Gladys Knight, versione contenuta nell'album Imagination pubblicato nel 1974. Undicesimo lavoro in studio per la cantante della Georgia e i suoi "The Pips", viene realizzato dopo il grande successo della loro interpretazione di Midnight Train to Georgia. La canzone risale al 1973 e porta la firma di Jim Weatherly; la prima incisione fu ad opera di Ray Price, ma fu questa versione a scalare le classifiche americane!
