Secondo lavoro in studio per l'artista del Connecticut, segna l'inizio di una popolarità internazionale grazie anche ai suoi ruoli cinematografici. La canzone, scritta da Burt Bacharach e Hal David, trae ispirazione infatti dall'omonimo film con John Wayne malgrado non sia poi stata inserita nella colonna sonora. Una delle sue hit!
