Tommy the Cat è un brano scritto e inciso dal gruppo dei Primus, contenuto nell'album Sailing the Seas of Cheese pubblicato nel 1991. Seconda fatica discografica per la band prog nata in California, è caratterizzato da una forte impronta di stampo funk-metal dovuta principalmente al chitarrista Todd Huth. La canzone è il secondo singolo estratto dal disco nonché uno dei loro cavalli di battaglia; fu scelta per la colonna sonora del film "Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey".
