Runaway Train è un brano composto e inciso dai Soul Asylum, contenuto nell'album Grave Dancers Union pubblicato nel 1992. Sesto lavoro in studio per la rock band di Minneapolis, si rivela il loro apice discografico con ben 3 milioni di copie vendute e tutto grazie a questa canzone! Musica e parole portano la firma del frontman Dave Pirner ed è il terzo singolo estratto dal disco; un'intensa ballata folk-rock che valse al gruppo un Grammy Award ed una popolarità mondiale.
